Men Down

Yi Jianlian and Keyon Dooling are out  7-10 days due to left-ankle sprains. They each suffered them in one of the recent scrimmages, landing on someone else's foot.

That was the biggest news to come out of today's Media Day. No one seems overly concerned, though.

Coach Lawrence Frank called them "Grade 1" sprains. GM Kiki Vandeweghe said they were "slight sprains." Both players said they expected to play in Europe, if not sooner.

More to come on Media Day.

How are these guys hurt already? I think Nenad had a point when he called out the Nets Training Staff! Anyone else have similar sentiments?

Meh this really changes nothing, they arent gonna miss any games and YI really needs to rest.

How can you blame the training staff for the players injuring themselves by landing on another player's foot? A little short-sighted don't you think?
